Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing monthly payroll runs and deductions
Reviewing end-of-service benefits
Calculating and recording provisions for leave entitlements and airline tickets
Reviewing and posting payroll accounting entries and reconciling accounts with the general ledger
Tracking employee-related account balances
Preparing payroll cost reports by department and cost center
Preparing employee-related provisions and liabilities in accordance with IAS 19
Communicating and coordinating with the banking department to ensure salaries are transferred on time
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 5 years of accounting experience, particularly in payroll management
Experience in companies with more than 500 employees or multiple branches preferred
Required Skills:
Advanced knowledge of payroll accounting
Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and HR systems
Familiarity with the complete accounting cycle
Understanding of Saudi regulations and labor laws related to wages, insurance (GOSI), leave, and end-of-service entitlements
Ability to prepare financial analyses related to employee costs
Ability to analyze payroll processes for automation and workflow improvement
